Corepad Skatez replace exact the original feet of your mouse and can be easily glued to reduce the frictional resistance and improve the sliding properties as replacement-feet under the mouse.
Corepad Skatez consist of 100% pure quality PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene - Colloquially this plastic is often referred with the trade name Teflon® from DuPont™) and thus offer excellent lubrication at high load capacity. The stiction coefficient is below 0,06μ and thus far below the sliding friction.
The extremely smooth surface of Corepad Skatez reduces the uncomfortable "stick-slip" or almost completely eliminates it. Question: What are Corepad Skatez made off?
Answer: Corepad Skatez are only made of the finest materials - quality pure PTFE * and 3M self-adhesive foil - something else is quiet out of the question.
Question: Are Corepad Skatez available in black?
Answer: No, only pure PTFE * is white and therfore has the best slide characteristics. For coloring PTFE * colors must be added which always degrade the sliding properties. Colored mouse feet may additionally been stretched with cheap plastics in order to reduce production costs. Corepad makes no compromises in quality - therefore Corepad Skatez are only available in white.
Question: Do the Corepad Skatez wearout quickly?
Answer: In order to minimize friction and to allow a more comfortable sliding Corepad Skatez have to wearout. The wear out is of course dependent on the mouse pad and your individual usage characteristics. Therefore, you will always receive two pairs of Corepad Skatez for two applications.

- It is important not to increase the distance between the sensor and the surface
- Therefore, the old mouse feet and adhesive residues must always be completely removed
- Please keep the mouse and the mouse pad always clean for perfect gliding
- Check and compare the individual Skatez first
- Do you have the right Corepad Skatez?
- Now remove the old mouse feet
- Adhesive residues must be completely removed
- Clean & Dry the bottom of the mouse
- Carefully remove the foil from the adhesive side
- Do not touch the adhesive surface
- Place the Skatez sequentially to the right place
- Now press the mouse on a table for about 30 seconds
- Your mouse is now ready for new action!
