Corepad DOTS AIR #03 Universal DIY Mouse-Dots
Corepad Skatez AIR have been appreciated by many users since their release in 2022. The special heat treatment manufacturing process creates a uniformly smooth and flat surface. This makes the Corepad Skatez AIR easier to control and a little slower than the Corepad Skatez PRO. However, Corepad Skatez AIR are only available for selected models.
With the Corepad DOTS AIR, we are finally offering you the opportunity to enjoy this AIR effect on many more mice. And there is another crucial feature: you can actively and individually design your own AIR effect - according to your own preferences. The selection is extremely large: from a few small DOTS to a maximum of many large DOTS.
Thanks to our various Corepad DOTS models with different diameters, thicknesses and compositions, the possibilities are enormous and the Corepad DOTS AIR is the ideal tool for this.
The properties of the DOTS AIR vary depending on the size:
Large DOTS AIR are a little slower due to the large contact surface.
Small DOTS AIR are significantly faster in comparison, but due to their small size they often fit better in the corners of the mouse and are used to stabilize the mouse so that it does not tip over.
Corepad DOTS AIR are made from pure, unadulterated PTFE and are designed for use on fabric mouse pads, as PTFE offers ideal properties for use on fabric mouse pads. On harder materials such as plastic or glass, however, PTFE wears out faster and can be louder.

Answer: No, only pure PTFE * is white and therfore has the best slide characteristics. For coloring PTFE * colors must be added which always degrade the sliding properties. Colored mouse feet may additionally been stretched with cheap plastics in order to reduce production costs. Corepad makes no compromises in quality - therefore Corepad Skatez are only available in white.

Answer: In order to minimize friction and to allow a more comfortable sliding Corepad Skatez have to wearout. The wear out is of course dependent on the mouse pad and your individual usage characteristics. Therefore, you will always receive two pairs of Corepad Skatez for two applications.

- It is important not to increase the distance between the sensor and the surface
- Therefore, the old mouse feet and adhesive residues must always be completely removed
- Please keep the mouse and the mouse pad always clean for perfect gliding
- Remove the old mouse feet
- Adhesive residues must be completely removed
- Clean & Dry the bottom of the mouse
- Carefully remove the foil from the adhesive side
- Do not touch the adhesive surface
- Place the DOTS sequentially to all places you wish
- Now press the mouse on a table for about 30 seconds
- Your mouse is now ready for new action!
- Have fun with your new Corepad Skatez!
Corepad Skatez consists of 100% pure quality PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene - Colloquially this plastic is often referred to by the trade name Teflon® DuPont™) and therefore offers excellent lubrication at high load capacity. The stiction coefficient is below 0,06μ and thus far below the sliding friction.
Corepad Skatez are naturally self-adhesive. Here too, only high-quality 3M self adhensive foil is used for the ideal stick of Corepad Skatez.
